Wow lots of memories coming back looking at that thread.
Crimson Skies was such an amazing online game.
Here is MSFT's official timeline if you all want to see it.

Yes that thread gave me a warm feeling :p. The xbox had so special great games!
Nothing quite like 8-player Halo LAN parties with my roommates back in the day. It was a tossup between that and SSBMelee for awhile.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I dropped one of mine on my foot once, broke my foot, console was fine fortunately. Thinking back on it, did I perhaps do it subconciously to be able to call off school and spend more time with the console?... I love that big box. <3

Haha nice
The console wasn't the only thing that sturdy either. I'm usually a very calm gamer, but I remember one time when I was trying to beat the first level of Halo 2 on legendary (which for some reason was the most painfully difficult experience of the game) and after dying like 30 times in a row I lashed out with my arm and the controller slipped out of my hand. It crashed right into the wall on my right, and actually made a dent in the wall too. Amazingly, the controller didn't have a scratch on it, and worked perfectly fine.
I remember when the Xbox had some unique games like Voodoo Vince and Blinx. Oh! and Grabbed by the goulies.
