Define massively underperform. PS3 is dieing in Japan and the game is not suited for handhelds imo.

You don't expect the PSP version of Pro Baseball Spirits to chart?  It outsold the Vita version last year, iirc.

Look at the ps4 upcoming list of games as of today 23 days after the launch vs the Wii U 25 days after its launch.

You don't expect the PSP version of Pro Baseball Spirits to chart?  It outsold the Vita version last year, iirc.


I knew I forgot something.  That being said even though last year the PSP version outsold the Vita version 80k to 23k, I expect the Vita version to be higher this year to the tune of ~45-50k to ~40k for the PSP version.  I don't expect the PSP version to crack the top 10, but it will probably end up around #12 for the week.

God Eater 2 realy was the swan song for the PSP, and with nothing of note coming for it in the future, I expect the psp is getting stored away in droves by the type of people who would buy a sports game on week 1.
