Someone prefered to buy Hatsune on Vita :)
Dont drop under 15k Vita, 30 days to hold, Hatsune is coming !

Infinite Stratos is releasing in less than two weeks... and Neptunia Rebbirth;2 one week before Project Diva 2nd.. not that will make a huge boost, but should keep it a little while above 15k arround 20k.. may be even PS4 sales with Remote play should boost up a little vita's hardware sales...

Right, i forgot this one and PS4 impact, that could help Vita

Thank you Tbone(forgot Ground 0), that confirms PS4 games are not doing well, and it hasnt big system seller like Mario doing better than all PS4 games together.
We'll see whether PS4 can sell thanks to the hype like in the rest of the world.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

The vita will probably be doing better than that.  I don't know how low it will get this week, but it should hit 20-30k the week of Infinite Stratos, and Deception, 40k or so the week of SS delta and that hardware bundle, probably back down to 20-30k for March 10-16, before going up to 50k+ for the last two weeks.

March 17-23 has a holiday, and 6 vita games releasing, and March 24-31 has 8 games releasing including Hatsune Miku.

Honestly, I'm sure the Sony line will be that the PS 4 drove vita sales in Japan, and most people will beleive them.  But the real reason that Vita will do well in March is because it has 19 games releasing to retailors between Feb 27 and March 27, which beats every other platform by a good margin.

Vita sales will probably get a small bump with the Ps4's release because of remote play. Japanese people love to play on their handhelds so this might be a selling point to them.

PS4 games will do well, vita wont get a boost with ps4. Everybody picking up a ps4 is picking up games with it. Beside most ps4 owners will probably already have a vita

Just trying to say dont get your hopes up, vita didn't get a boost (from ps4) in US or Europe when ps4 launch

Obviously Sony dont have system sellers like MonHun and Mario at launch but launches dont really need system sellers to move consoles.

Vita sold roughly 320,000 launch week

3DS sold roughly 400,000 launch week

WiiU sold roughly 307,000 launch week

I dont think PS4 is going to sell worse than the WiiU here (except from the whole 1 day of sales for PS4 is launch week). It just seems the 300-400k range is what to expect from consoles launching in Japan that arent from MS =P

Although I feel some people are expecting to much from PS4 in Japan. I dont think the crazy sales we had in NA and EU will carry over to Japan. PS4 imo will have a typical launch in Japan and will sell slightly more than PS3 LT due to the decline of Nintendo.

On the software side it will definitely be more spread out than WiiU's launch of just 3 games above 15k

You have to understand this chart before you can make these statements. COMG is a small chain in sparsely populated region of Japan. And most people would believe your last statement is trolling.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Thanks for the info... only a few of those are showing on the Pre-Order chart, but sure all gonna do some impact on sells...

Like kowam and tbone say, and thinking it again, seems more like Vita is gonna boost PS4 sells XD

and @ktay95, recently that's the trend on Home consoles, but PS2 had almost 1 million first week back in the year 2000. Don't think PS4 is hyping that much.. but 500-600k is pretty possible...

Wow, really nice Top 7 we had today. Some interesting things going on at the top of the charts!

I didn't know Japan liked B-ball so much, either.
