Is Kantai Collection that popular? I have a friend who rigged his PC specifically to play it from the States, but he's an otaku...

The previous Monsters game on 3DS didn't reach a million, so I don't think they were aiming for that.  It'll probably ship 1m at least.

Yes.  Bolded and underlined the important part.  DQ VII was a remake of a mainline game; this is a remake of a spin-off title.  Terry's Wonderland was the game I was referencing and that's also part of the 'Monsters' spin-off.

I don't see any reason it can't match Terry's Wonderland and do 800-900k.  Just probably fall a bit short of 1m.
