[3DS] Puzzle & Dragons Z - 742pt (three days before release)
[3DS] Dragon Quest VII - 722pt (final)
[3DS] Animal Crossing New Leaf - 655pt (final)

holy moly! this gamewill destroy everything!

How much did both games sell FW? AC had 25% digital sales i think 600k retail and 200k Digital!

Do you have a source for those digital numbers? No one released any (and Famitsu didn't start tracking until September).

This covers more than launch but here's the relevant paragraph from Polygon based on a Nintendo statement: http://www.polygon.com/2013/4/25/4265002/nintendo-wii-u-and-3ds-digital-sales-on-the-rise-animal-crossing-new

Purchases of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, launched last November in Japan and South Korea, have also been mostly digital due to short supply of the physical version at retail, and because the game is "one that you can enjoy every day over a long period of time." The title has shipped 3.86 million units to date, with one quarter of the total sales being digital. This number includes sales of the special Animal Crossing 3DS XL bundle which includes a digital copy of the game. The bundle will launch alongside the game in North America this June.

That said a lot of those digital sales were cards at retailers hence the discripancy between Media Create and Famitsu.

Cards are not digitally sales though and they're even inlcuded into Famitsu's tracking.

Thanks savisn and kop for the articles though.

Yes I agree but Nintendo did say digital was considerably higher for Animal Crossing than other digital games. Prob around 15% which puts it at 80-90k first week.

Well, MC tracked 603.064 and Famitsu 721.786, we could say that the Download Cards were around 118k. So, direct eShop sales were around 90k.

And for MC both direct eShop sales and Download Cards are digital sales.

puzzle and dragons will destroy japan these holidays. I wonder if it will reach 800 points.

Wow at PDZ, no idea how well it'll do, can't really think of anything to compare it to. Either way it'll be big, I'm feeling increasingly confident that between this and Zelda (struggling as it is on COMG), 3DS will sell more in 2013 than 2012

Puzzle and Dragons has already destroyed Japan and become the popular gaming IP right now. The plague is just spreading to the 3DS.
