How' FF VII R faring against FF XV?

FFXV had 123 points at this stage compared to 97 for FF7:R. But I wouldn't be too worried when we're this far from release.

Well, FF XV had a very shallow preorders curve, with about half the sales at COMGet already done about 100 days before release (It reached somewhere around 350 points iirc). FF VII R so far looks like it will have a very similar curve: Great, extremely early start, very shallow progression afterwards, even during the final weeks.

Due to this, at this rate, I'm not even sure it will hit 300 points. Granted, COMGet has shrunk a lot in between, so even with just 250 preorders it should beat XV's FW sales. But that would still be very disappointing for a FF game nonetheless.
