How so? The most MH ever sold outside of Japan is 1M. If anything they have an opportunity for growth with this game. Breaking the franchise away from being dependent on Japan would be great for them. Obviously they are taking a risk with it.
But I just don´t see the opportunity cost here. World existing doesn´t mean Switch won´t get a MH after all.

Tri being made on the Wii didn't stop Capcom from making the biggest ever Monster Hunter game in Japan with Portable 3rd (sold 4.9 million on a "dying" platform) or from porting it later to the 3ds to triple* the sales. But logic doesnt matter, Alkibiades will blurt out bullshit as usual with no intention to listen, much less learn.
The Switch cant handle the game in its present form anyways. He's literally asking for the impossible.

That's why they should have made the game with the Switch in mind.
Switch + PS4 + Xbox One + PC would sell a lot more than what they're doing now.
Not to mention that development costs are probably through the roof. This is the company that couldn't develop Street Fighter V alone (which btw pretty much bombed, like most of Capcom's games on the PS4).
