I think maybe he just means overall sales. ReReleases and everything, or maybe he just means since the franchise became super famous.

I hope we don't have to wait 20 years for all re-releases of FF XV (if there are going to be any) to compare like-for-like with the franchise :P

Undoubtedly it'll be one of the lower selling. It should breeze past 1 & 2 though.

They also trashed FF14 Heavensward in Amazon japan(2.5 out of 5) so it's definitely not reliable. One of the reviews even is just one sentence repeated 3 times. LOL. Lightning Returns is also ranked higher than all 13 games and FF12. I guess FF just has a lot of overreacting fans/haters and trolls online in Japan.
