Forums - Sales - COMG! Japan Pre-order Chart Thread - Daily updates!

Hey guys, I have an interesting conclusion to share with you...

Pokémon sun and moon has 654 points with 78 days left, if on average gets 10 points till its release it will almost match the points oF OR/AS...

However, when its relasese date comes close, like being 25 days away, it sould start getting insane points! Hence I can say that Sun and moon have huge possibility to reach x/y points and have the points of OR/AS locked!

Nomura really dodged a bullet, he can´t thank Tabata often enough. FF15s preorders paint a real grim picture for its Japanese performance, it might even become the worst selling mainline Final Fantasy entry in decades.

When can we expect World of Final Fantasy to chart? Less than two months until launch day.

How did Nomura dodge a bullet? As if sales/preorders in Japan, even if the game would be under Nomura, say anything about the game itself. That`s just how their market is and FF15 is the first big brand title to give a proper showcase on its situation. I don´t think any console game will sell much about a million anymore.

Nice day for P5 again. Though that -1 for XV hurts my poor soul, I`m really curious if proper advertisement will change anything for XV or if Japan just is too burned out on the franchise thanks to last generation ... but well as I said above that`s probably how the console market will be. Niche games can still grow and mainstream games go down in sales.

Quite easy answer, Tabata took the reign and is the producer of the game therefore, commercial success or failure will be associated with him and his career, while Nomura will be responsible for other productions. If a completely new mainline FF doesn´t sell 1 million units in Japan it just means it isn´t appealing enough and there is something wrong in this regard. The excuse of market condition is also pretty weak, considering even WiiU (a console) has a few million sellers in Japan.

Its sooooo close on touching it!

Persona did great again, don't know why people so care about the "pts" between P5 and P4 on comg ,in fact,if we are exactly talking about the "sales" then we should know that P4 has no chance to beat P5 , even if P5 will get less pts than P4 on comg, nevermind.

Persona 5 really entered in beast mode two weeks before release. Stores are really pushing the reservations as we reach the release date.

FFXV is not having much space on shelves, at least on little shops, where Yakuza and FIFA are really stronger. There's also a recomandation stand for this fall, with games that sold really well during this summer.

Last weekend, Bic Camera had a Pikachu Pool for its visitors, lol.

Replace the Ocean with this, and the world would be a much better place! XD

That`s because the WiiU has crazy attach rates. Something FF does not have. It would need way above 30% attachrate FW to to get the normal numbers for the franchise, that`s just impossible.
