People want their old pokemon back from previous games. 2. Most people hate hacked pokemon! This pokemon bank actually helps out with both categories. Also it was impossible to have data transfer from DS to 3DS (wat i heard), so this was the best solution. Pokemon Bank stores our pokemon as the name suggest and can give access to players with one game and transfer over so they can start anew. $5 a year isnt really asking much and its an option. But evrybody has their own opinions! I like wat they are doing this gen with all the new Mech! Also adding in some great Stuff! Metacritic better have this game with 92+! I mean if all the others have 85-88 scores and this XY far surpasses themits only right!!! Are you picking a copy up? I still don't understand why storing more Pokemon is a premium feature. Seems a no brainer that this should just be something that has been in the game the entire time.  I don't plan on buying it as of now. Last Pokemon I played all the way through was Silver. I did play a little bit of Platinum and it only took a few hours to realize I didn't want to play another roster update. Not only storing but transfering. In the past you needed a link cable another copy of the game and another system if you wanted to carry Pokemon with you anew into a new file. (They cant have 2 because of save state trade abuses) Now you can store bank them, restart and them pull em out in case you want the other starters.  There are a lot of changes that arent so well explained like special splits and such that haven't been quite explained. I think Gamefreak was trying to not overwhelm the kiddies but then it creates people that levae the game thinking that they've done everything there is. X/Y looking to change that it seems with Super training and the fact that we can see the stat changes. They're being a lot more transparent that these hidden mechanics exist.

I predicted 4m+ for MH4, looks like it's on track! Great numbers, Capcom should be over the moon.

And Pokemon should finally awaken.

~500k should be expected for Monster Hunter 4 in this week charts since it is around the usual -75% second week.

I don't know how these Comg preorder numbers will translate for games released in September 26, but if it reflects the usual 1pt ~ 1k sales, the publishers have a good lesson to learn: Never ever release a game between two mega launches a month apart.

I do find the current COMG odd considering the start but can only attribute such drastic changes to a change in policy rather than a change in demand.
