I have read somewhere that Falcom was targeting 500k sales with Sen no Kiseki in PS3 and Vita. As the things go, they will be lucky if it reaches ~200k level of Ao no Kiseki.

I highly doubt that's the case. Their games never sell that well...

I also considered it weird, but it is on one of the Falcom's official statements about Sen no Kiseki. They were aiming to get the Gold Prize on Playstation Awards, that means selling over 500k units.
