Yo-kai Watch is a game that's mostly played by kids. Does that sound like the Vita demographic to you? The low sales wouldn't be worth pissing of Nintendo. Yo-kai Watch should never be on the Vita.

Yeah, off course.. And Pokemon too is played mostly by kids... Games have minimum age, not maximum...

And a SP4/Vita port would help, because PS4 doesn't sell that well in Japan, nor HW nor SW... Vita port would get the money there for the cheap port.. and then PS4 would be highlitghted on the west because Vita isn't popular on the west at all...

Pokémon is aimed at kids but has a demographic of people of all ages.  Yo-kai Watch is aimed at kids and is mostly played by them. Maybe in 10 years if the current demographic has grown up it will have an older fanbase. If it's still alive by then.

The online Pokémon meta game is also a lot deeper than Yo-kai Watch's combat system. Thus appealing to an older crowd as well.

A Vita port would make an insignificant amount of money. And Yo-kai Watch makes heavy use of the second touch screen making ports difficult. Have you guys ever looked at more than one minute footage of this game?
