I could tell by the number of new posts today that Mario Maker made the charts

So what are the expectations for Yuro No Nai Kuni? From what I've seen Gust games don't seem to get a lot of pre orders at COMG (like barely 20 points by release) yet the Vita version has 40 points already and there's still PS3 and PS4 versions as well. Am I missing something or is the game just doing really well?

*Edit - Actually going back about a week shows that the 2 PS4 skus are hovering around 20 points combined so thats about 60 points total so far for Yuro No Nai Kuni.

It's difficult to know how the Vita versions of Atelier / Ar no Surge did because they sold so low, even a 1 : 1 ratio on COMG would have meant that most of them didn't show up.

That said, Yoru no Nai Kuni seems to be doing very well at the moment.  I wouldn't expect miracles from it, but it should be a fairly easy 100k+ from all SKU's which would be a big success for Gust seeing how Atelier has been declining lately.

Why hello there Mario, fancy seeing you here.

Good to see Mario Maker. Please leave charts with at least 40 or 50 points. T.T

Lol It will have more than that easily.

Good to see SMM! I wasn't expecting it for another week honestly. For a series that's not particularly hot on COMG with 4 SKUs, this is a very good start. Hopefully it passes 3D World when it's done, which I imagine it will.

It doesn't really have 4 SKUs. Counting the two bundles as separate SKUs of the game is kinda odd. It's not like they are gonna make up a large number of FW sales anyway. 10k max from the bundles I'd say. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember NSMU getting 200 points, so 2D Mario isn't a slouch on COMG.

Those are 4 SKUS anyway, and NSMU was the launch game of the console so the sales are tied to the wiiu launch.

No, they aren't really 4 SKUs of Mario Maker. They are two SKUs of Mario Maker, and two SKUs of the Wii U. And those Wii U bundles won't hinder its points in any notable way on COMG, so using the 4 SKUs as a reason for hypothetically low points just doesn't hold water.

NSMBU has sold over 1 million in Japan, so let's not pretend 2D Mario is this small franchise over there. It's bigger than 3D Mario.

I don´t think is the kind of game that set the charts on fire, of course is big and Mario Maker will be big, but I think is not gonna be front-loaded.

Pre-orders for Call of Duty Black Ops III just opened. Published by Sony.
