It was launching on the same day as Dragon Quest VIII if it had carried on with its current release date.  There's nowhere it can really go that would've been more beneficial.

Maybe last year when it was due to launch -_-

Kancolle keep being delayed and delayed...We still haven't see a trailer of the game.

That's true, but to be fair, MHX is probably a bigger threat than DQVIII. If there even is a notable threat, anyway.

I actually didn't know it was supposed to launch last year. How is that even possible when they still haven't shown gameplay? I wonder if the development is just more rough than they anticipated.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. He does live in Canada, afterall. Makes sense. Speaking of moon, tomorrow apparently we'll have a Blue Moon; that's cool.
