Well, Owas expecting like 25-30k FW in Japan, but that seems optimistic now.

Perhaps including digital...but it is a game I expect to do better in the West.

Looking at a few of Platinum's other games, it seems reasonable (aside from Metal Gear, which I'll discount for obvious reasons).

But I certainly thought W101 had more of an eastern aesthetic than a western one.  

And Pikmin in Japan > Pikmin in the west, USA sales pending.

But we'll see.  30k shouldn't be a high bar to beat.  But there's always a chance of W101 doing better in Japan - that's only a first shipment, after all.
