I think that will be at 40,000 during the week ending 2 May.

Dragon Quest, XenoBlade bundle, golden week...

Too mucH for you?

WiiU's biggest Golden Week is 11k, last year it was only 8k.

40k has no chance of happening, WiiU can barely pull 40k in December, hell even if Mario Kart 8 had released on Golden Week 40k would've been an insane prediction.

It has more pre-orders on tsutaya than the first, anyway 67p isn't a bomb,it depends on  the ratio...

After the 1p:2200 of X3D,which ended with 26p end sold 57k first week...I stopped prejudging...

If it does not perfom well or rather satisfy our expectations, which could be possible in the slow sales week it released, the next week, which is the golden week holiday,it will probably compensate us then...

Not to mention Mario Party 10, which didn't chart at all yet opened with 50k.

Thanks for reminding me that...

That's more impressive!

And it justifies why I'm optimistic about Puzzle and Dragons Super mario bros edition(250-300k+ not below 200k for sure,I'm ready to eat crow at least I have rationalize it very well)tbone grumbles because is way behind PDZ and fears of just 100-150k but there is a difference,it has mario,it's a golden week release,e.t.c...

P.s

Also mario party 10 and xenoblade 3D have great legs(This fact is a good omen for xcx),as the overwhelming majority of ninty games!                                                 I expected it for mario party 10 but for X3D I wasn't sure,X3D sales the same everyweek,it won't delay to reach 100k...

I hope that it will match the sales of the wii version(200k+) and it will probably do it or even smash it,this year holidays will help!:P

I'm looking forward to see the spikes of them in the golden week, generally for the ninty games and especially mario kart 8 which refuses to leave the top 20...Interesting thing is the leggy Pokemon OR/AS vs the leggy Yokai watch shinuchi close & long battle...Ah!And the kirby rc,I want to compare the super(unexpected for some people) legs of it between Japan and the USA!:p

Kyllee you checked that? No,because the best was 13k+...

I had forgotten these results I might have overhyped that week...
Well wii u was up in the first week of april by 20,74% and 21,52% in the second, this in the super slow sales-wise april,so it can definetely do more than the 8k of last year and since there is a xcx bundle, limited though(10k units ?) but  we can have a pleasant surprise...What do you expect?

Mario Party bundle week: 40,000

Dragon Quest X week: 21,000 in March, or 48,000 in December

Dragon Quest + Golden week + XenoBlade X bundle... still absolutely 0 chance?

P.S

Pikmin 3 boost > Mario Kart 8 boost.

Mario Kart in Japan was nothing... not even close to the Europe and US boost.

I doubt a second expansion to Dragon Quest X is going to expand the userbase much.

And the Wii U has never done more than 23k outside of the holidays.

I don't really see the Wii U doing much more than 25k-30k which wouldn't too bad if only it could maintain some momentum for longer than 1 week.

I think what we're seeing with Mario on Wii U is that pretty much everyone that wanted the console for Mario had it by the time MK8 came out (due to other games like NSMBU and SM3DW), so this is why a game like Pikmin 3 had a bigger effect on sales (because it was the first game in the series on the console). Therefore, moving forward I think we should expect games that haven't seen a release on the Wii U (Xenoblade, Illusory Revelations #FE, Pokken Fighters, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Splatoon(?), etc.) to have more of an impact on HW than any Mario game (Mario Maker, and more recently, MP10).

Not saying this means 40k will happen (I'm expecting more in the 20-25k range), but I think this is an important thing to note. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first Golden Week where the Wii U has had a big new release?

Slow day but good for nintendo. Time for those cancelled preorders it seems.

Poor Bravely Second, I wonder if the first game had bad word of mouth.

Probably started out with good word of mouth as people played through the first two thirds of the game, which was great.  Then as they started trudging through the obscenely padded path to the true ending where the only way you can press on is through the willful ignorance of the party that you once adored, I can imagine it left a lot of people thinking "this game can go fuck itself," I know that was the case for me.
