    Hmm if we can compare it to DQX and Wario then we would get a better indication. I wouldn't write 100k FW off yet. Hardware 20k.

    White premium bundle also releases in Japan on same day. It should reach over 30k.

    People told me that COMG favors Sony better, and I've seen their games sell roughly 700-1,000 games per point. People told me Nintendo is isually 500-800 games per point.

    However most people who buy this game, probably don't own a Wii U yet, and probably don't have it pre-ordered. It could break 100k.

    I just hope if breaks 560k lifetime in Japan. That's why Pikmin 1 AND Pikmin 2 sold, and Iwant Pikmin 3 to outsell them.

    These points arent accurate at all, just estimates. Each game is different! Ex:Luigi ended up with over 300points and got 285k FW while DQX got 17points and opened with 34k-35k FW

    Oh wow, games can sell better then 1,000k per point?

    I've only been following Boutros's awesome thread for a few months now, so I'm still learning. From what I see, SOMG pre-orders give you a rough estimate of sales.

    e.g. we can't expect Pikmin 3 to open with 20,000 or 400,000

    It could do better then 140k, but I doubt it. I think if anything it will hold strong week 2-5 sales since it's kinda the star title for the Wii U ATM, and I can't imagine too many used copies appearing.
