How does that even work? Is the mobile version doing ok? I reckon they can sell a lot, it has DQ on the title, and it's on the 3DS.

Dragon Quest X for 3DS uses the cloud technology, so the game is not limited by 3DS hardware. Crossplay with Wii, Wii U, PC and others.

Then Tsutaya's report says one million first week for Youkai Watch is possible ;)

If I'd been asked last week whether I thought YW2 would beat 1m first week I would've said I expect it to fall slightly short, like 900k, but now I'm beginning to think it'll do it - over 1500pts in COMG, and for a casual orientated title which will have plenty of people who just go and buy it rather than pre-ordering, that's huge now I think about it. 1.1m or 1.2m now sounds pretty reasonable, may even beat that slightly

I'm willing to bet Neptunia U will sell in the region of 25-30k first week no matter how many points it gets on COMG.  It also won't boost hardware at all:

Neptunia Idol -> 27,701 first week.

Neptunia Rebirth -> 30,721 first week

Neptunia Rebirth 2 -> 26,496 first week

Neptunia Noire -> 27,535 first week

It's pretty obvious that it's the same people who keep buying these games and as such I doubt another one will do anything for hardware.

I'm kinda surprised they haven't done that already.  They really hurt the sales potential of the game by releasing it on iOS first though.  Should've been a 3DS port right from the start, iOS port later if necessary.
