Or if you bring ports over and they dont sell and they are not reflected in the numbers? Shocking

1) Don't support Nintendo products with anything meaningful 2) Don't get any meaningful returns 3) Make it seem like its the platform's fault |
ding ding ding
I can't think of a single Wii game from EA that has looked like there was a bit of effort put into it aside from Boom Blox. And I read somewhere that the WiiU version of Madden is a gimped version that doesn't even include the new engine and features that the PS3/360 versions had? Yikes.

It's not like the Vita is getting any meaningful support either. It gets sports games from EA, that is it.

They never had to. It's just that most multi-platform games (which is what a lot of EA's titles are) go on all platforms. So it doesn't make sense.
OT: And this is surprising...? EA is a company that makes many games and that only makes games. Nintendo is a company that makes games and manages over two consoles at certain times. (Currently four.)
So? I'm shocked people still buy EA products.

Godfather on Wii was actually fantastic, and the best version of that game, but since the only EA-game on a Nintendo-console worth a damn was the first Boom Blox in 2008

Maybe not you, but Nintendo fans were praising the game because it's the best version, then they don't even buy it.
It's one thing if people gloat at a competitors fanbase that their console has the best version, but then when they don't even buy it, what's the point? Just that their favorite console has it and our favorite console doesn't? It's like saying they have a hot girlfriend but other people have sex with her.

Tiger Woods Golf had Wii as the lead platform and did quite well for a few years, actually.
Problem is, Wii owners aren't gullible enough to buy the same game year after year, so sales eventually dropped off until EA dropped support. Wii users, who just want a fun game to play, are basically incompatible with EA Sports' "roster update" business model.

I didnt word it to brag, but the 220% gain from last year is something and considering the handheld disadvantage Sony has (152+30 vs 76 + 4), its quite impressive.
