There was a troll thread a while back asking when Wii U would cost $99 and the author thought 2014. Well I want to know when it will reach $199.99.

I believe it will get its first price cut to $249.99 for basic and $279.99 for deluxe either In Q3 when Pikmin, Wind Waker, Wii Fit, Wii Party come out or Q2 2014 after the fiscal year ends. Based off that I think the second price cut will be sometime in Q3 2015 to $199.99 and discontinue one of the skus, I think games like Nintendo Land 2 or New Super Mario World are possible to coincide with such a cut. What do the rest of you think?

They might drop the price to $250 during the fall when they have a ton of games to back it up. I dont think it will go to $200 anytime soon

depends on how well it sells, at least after mid 2014 though. But more realistically 2015.

Holiday 2014 bundles. That's when I'll look for a $200 bundle with maybe Mario Kart on Black Friday

I think this really depends on where Sony and Microsoft come in at. But for 200. 2015 earliest is my guess.

166euro = $215 ... not really $199 but close.
