I personally think it was the fans' overreaction that caused this memo to all of a sudden be leaked. The wording screams "we thought about it, they hated it, don't do it." I am stoked that they did this though, because I believe 100% that the fusion was going to be online only until the outcry. You don't wait this long to squash a rumor. That said, all I need to hear is "multiplayer is free," and I'm completely broke come holiday season!
