i did. if they arent making GoW they are making a new IP, its the only other option. either a new Gow or a new IP. they wont just shut down and stop making games you know

OT: As other's have said they are already making a new IP with stig's team and will have a GoW team too.  GoW with a new mythology and character would be best, but I would still buy any GoW they make even if it's still with Kratos.


Damn Skippy! Give me Acension's challenge and awesome combat with a more thoughtful story and I'm in. MP is just a bonus. The gap between GOW2 and 3 was huge for me, and if the next installment can produce similar results then I'll be a VERY happy gamer.

Exactly.  Ascension's combat was amazing.  Story just needs to be awesome with Kratos and I will throw my money at them.

Exactamundo! I mean my friends were done with Halo after 3, but after they played 4 they became excited for the new trilogy because apparently 343 had the right elements in the new game. If SSM can produce similar results then I see no reason to not make GOW4. Ascension was an experiment of sorts anyway, and I am sure the lessons they learned will be put to use for the next title.

Norse mythology with new hero who maybe shares a similar tale (tricked by a God) but not too similar. Egyptian would work too but I think Norse has some really cool character and is highly marketable after the 2 Thor movies and Avengers that will have been out by the time the next God of War is made. With Infamous Second Son and Killzone Mercenary on PS4 already and the series' storyline and Kratos being a bit rung out at this point (I don't see where there are any more gaps to fill and continuing after 3 would REALLY be a stretch and just feel stupid, but maybe SSM can make it work).

Don't mix norse mythology and avengers :P the only thing they took were names, they have very little else in common to the actual mythos.

Make it with proper dialogue/script and I'm all for it. The characterization in GOW3 was a kid in the gnads.

ohh so you dont want a GOW4 because you havent got a PS3.. so you said no even though you wouldnt buy it anyway.. 

OT. Yes. we have only had 2 games per gen which isnt milked like other franchises. Like the one above which is has released 6 games in 1 gen... GOW4 wil be welcomed.

oh you guys and the hypocrisy.  milking is milking.  since a cow only has 4 udders everything with the same name regardless  of  gen or console should die right?

i mean there are 7 gow titles and 3 collections.

got milk?

I want to SEE it, I don't want to buy or play it to be quite frank.

They've always been amazing for the eye-candy, to see what they could pull on PS4 and Vita would be just incredible... Though I suppose at that point, you may as well just take the team and put them on a new IP.
