Which game will sell more

Both games will be the best selling games of 2013 and no game will be able to come close to it...but the real question is which game will sell more. COD gas had some major competition since 2010 but which none came close to it. Here are sales of big competitiors  when comapred to COD on the 360.

2010:

1 Call of Duty: Black Ops 2010 Shooter Activision 9.09 3.43 0.10 1.31 13.93

Here is a chart of MW2 vs GTA 4 (360 versions)

But it is important to note that GTA IV came in spring but MW2 came in holiday season with a far bigger install base for the 360 and PS3. This time there both coming in holiday seasons (well sort of). However if we compare the biggest GTA game vs the biggest Cod game...GTA dominates

1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 2004 Action Take-Two Interactive 9.43 8.48 0.41 2.49 20.81
2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 2011 Shooter Activision 9.25 4.11 0.12 1.43 14.91

If the 360 or PS3 version (It looks like the PS3 version has a better chance) of GTA sells anywhere near those numbers than it looks tough for COD to compete especially since Black Ops II looks like it won't outsell MW2, BO or MW3... I expect the same decline for COD ghosts and GTA V only to be bigger than GTA IV at the very least due to the massive increase in install base since 2008.

Call of Duty is invincible it will sell much more then GTA this is a no brainer

Nah I'm thinking GTA. CoD will decline. It'll be close though.

My predictions for GTA V are
PS3: 16.4 million LT
360: 15.9 million LT

COD Ghosts:
360: 14.1 million
PS3: 12.2 million

Call of Duty has already peaked with MW3 and that sold a bit less than San Andreas, I think GTA V will easily beat Call of Duty Ghosts and possibly come closer to what San Andreas did overall.

I was thinking of making this thread yesterday.

GTAV should have it in the bag, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a ridiculous name and I'm expecting it to be a huge drop off in quality over previous games. The GTAV trailers seems to be generating so much hype.

Yeah well since Modern Warfare every Call of Duty game has even sold more then San Andreas aka the best selling GTA game of all time. 

And why would you even take Vice City as reference? I mean you should have compared it to GTA IV.
