I don't think it can, on a technical level (Especially against Crysis 3 grass). I don't know how to explain this, though, not in English. I do think the sum of its pieces (in Metro Last Light) is a better graphical scheme than in Crysis 3, but the latter one has the powerhouse and details with it.
@CGI-Quality It's what I told you. Crysis 3 is a powerhouse, but several atmospheric parts of Metro Last Light look better than it. It depends on the context and the moment.

Crysis 3 will be hard to match, for me (even from Next Gen games). The level of detail is astounding, especially in the second half of the title. However, some Metro screens leave me wondering if it can dethrone Cry 3, such as:
and
Yeah, Crysis 3 was amazing on max settings. These two screens and the other ones look phenomenal. Can't wait till it comes out.

I would easily give it to Metro above Crysis 3 just for the atmosphere alone.
Ah, but you must play through and beat Cry3 on max to truly understand the fight here!
Well, that won't be happening on my GT 650M, lol. I think I will max out at Med-High with 30fps. Although I can easily settle for that since it is more than sufficient for me. The video I watched of it playing on a GT 650M still looks incredible.
Talking about Crysis 3.
I just really like Metro's atmosphere.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
So far Crysis 3 still looks better to me, Metro is more about the set pieces and atmosphere that Crysis 3 doesn't have by design (Crysis 3 looks boring IMO, but it does look good).

The type of game Metro is (horror) will always be better, to me, and visually, I'm seeing things from it not present in Crysis 3.
I think Metro looks better as a game(even the first one is a lot more interesting to me than Crysis 3 lol), but I don't think it really tops Crysis 3 in graphics. Though I'm not sure how much graphics mean when they are not that far apart. Basically, if you go "hey dahuman, for 50 bucks, would you buy Crysis 3 or Metro Last Light if they came out on the same day?" my answer would be Metro Last Light everytime, but I'll most likely judge Crysis 3 as having better graphics to my eyes. Having more effects doesn't always mean a better looking game.

Fair enough. Simply put, I've not seen a better looking game than Crysis 3 (palyed it from beginning-to-end on max), but Last Light definitely challenges its position.
I think that as we move into the 8th gen in consoles, there will be more impressive looking games than Crysis3. Crytech didn't bother to over engineer their engine this time to fuck up even the highest end PCs, most likely to battle engines like UE, in a way, it's really fucking sad.
Also, even F2P games can look like this nowadays so meh.
