I'm actually surprised Dragon's Dogma is at the top. Considering Tsutaya is supposed to be family friendly, I was expecting a firm hold from Tomodachi. I expect it to be the other way around in Famitsu/Media Create though.
Actually quite an interesting update today. 10 new games! So while everyone is shouting "Omg no Soul Sacrifice!" (which is true, of course), there's also no MonHun 3G; Run for Money; Taiko no Tatsujin or any other game which has traditionally been showing legs. So, there's that.
Tomb Raider is way higher up than I expected it to be, might have a pretty decent opening with that placement. I'm also surprised Labyrinth Cross Blood Infinity charted, too. Experience Inc. had a nice hit on their hands with Demon Gaze but it was a brand new game; LCBI is a port of a port. Will probably translate into pretty poor sales though, #17 ain't too hot, but still, I doubt they need much money to recoup the costs of porting it (considering 25k first week was a big surprise for DG).
Photo Kano Kiss & Mugen Souls Z opening a lot poorer than I expected, though. The optimist in me hopes that's just, again, because of Tsutaya's family-friendly focus, but still. It's not looking like either of them will match up to the opening week of their predecessors (33k for Photo Kano; 23k for Mugen Souls).
Interesting update nonetheless. New games make things more fun!
