One of the very few people I've ever seen on vgc who do so. I take my hat off to you.

Its very different. Sony seems to go after these relationships with developers who like character development with epic action and storylines. Their relationship brought about a different type of gaming with Quantic Dream and sooner or later that company is destined to become Sony first party. Heavy Rain is a psychological thriller and yes I did like it. The game basically is played through QTE sequences and some free roam until you get to sections that you're supposed to be in to help the story progress. You play as three characters I believe and if you die as those characters during the QTE sequences there is no game over, their sequence is cut from the game and the overall story goes on. If you survive with all characters through each act the whole thing continues. Theres many endings for the game. Quantic Dream is onto something and after experiencing multiple endings of Heavy Rain, their next game Beyond is looking to be stellar. This time its more of a sci-fi/paranormal game. I heard there is more gameplay in this one than heavy rain.

Another low point for me, i hate the games with more than one ending.
Gran Turismo. I still haven't played one till this day.
I've played all the big hyped games, everything from Devil May Cry to Bioshock to Catherine to Batman to Dragon Age to Dead Space to Dragon Ball Z to Spyro, etc
However I'm not sure if I ever played LittleBigPlanet, or Sly Cooper. I think I played them for a few minutes, but I really can't remember, and if I played Sly Cooper, it was only for PS2, on a demo. However I know they aren't for me, I'm not a big fan of platformers, and the only platformers I do play are the big ones (Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario, etc), and it's mostly due to nostalgia.
Oh, I also never played Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, but it looks way too much like a Smash Bros Clone to me.
---
Other then maybe a few platformers, I've played everything that's gained any real hype, even niche games like White Knight Chronicles, Folklore, and Lair, and I've at least tried most of the better multiplatform games.
Oh wait! No I also never played Battlefield 3, but that's because I ordered the game on Black Friday, and the game was never shipped (nor was I charged for it), and when I contacted EA they offered to resell the game, but not at the promo they originally offered it for.
What is with all the hate? Don't read GamrReview Articles. Contact me to ADD games to the Database
