Now this is a game series that could definitely work as an animated film.

wow I didn't even know there was a Stuart Little 3.  In all fairness they didn't have a lot to work with when handed those projects.  This will be their biggest property to date.

Actually, I don't know how I feel about this. On the one hand, it should have happened years ago (or at least a cartoon series). On the flipside... it's finally happening, and a galaxy-trotting Ratchet film would be just PERFECT.

From that teaser, actually, it kind of films like whoever is making this definitely captured the essence of the humour in Ratchet, which is absolutely great.  I believe it's being written by someone from Insomniac too, so yeah, fantastic.

And the best thing I can draw from this is that Sony have future plans for Ratchet. After the last two shaky entries I wasn't too sure what'd happen with my favourite space-travelling Lombax and his robot sidekick, but now I feel much more reassured. Ratchet PS4 incoming (and hopefully HD Collection, too).

P.S. Side note, but hurry up and make a Sly Cooper cartoon series, Sony.  I finally feel like they're getting this stuff in check (Invizimals is getting a TV series too); so why ignore Sly? =/

Dude...I've always said Sony needs to endear younger kids to their characters. This is f'n perfect! I would even watch this! People needs to pay attention to the Nintendo effect, having cartoon shows for their kid friendly games.

dude...that's like...the WORST one (other than maybe the PSP ones haven't played em).  Seriously get the HD collection (1 is not to great once you play the others so play it first).  2 is one of the greatest PS2 games and 3 is one of my top 5 games of all time.  Deadlocked is pretty damn fun if you can get a co-op partner but definitely different.  ToD is great, Q4B is probably my favorite downloadable title ever, and ACiT is my favorite game of all time.  You owe it to yourself to try the collection at least and if you like that then the rest are very cheap now.

I agree with you. I only played a few hours of A4O and then moved on to another game and I haven't bought the downloadable game yet, wasn't that interested. It really sucks because ToD and ACiT were really really good.

I kind of hope the movie follows the story of ACiT. I'm such a fanboy of this game, it's my first platinum trophy and it's the only game that I kept playing after getting the platinum. :p

I go back to it at least twice a year and play through.  Truly a masterpiece.  It replaced UYA as my favorite Ratchet and game of all time.

This is amazing, I am absolutely seeing this in...2015? Aw. I just hope this means we get a new true mainline R&C game to follow up Crack in Time. The side games have their problems, but to me the mainline ones have been pure greatness.
