Negative. Hated the first one...

Yeah I wasnt a fan of the first really at all either. I know Deep Silver claimed they spent more resorces on Riptide so I was hoping for a better game but its not looking like they delivered at all

After a few patches this should be a blast just like the first one. Definite buy.

i am not getting it since the first one was mediocre

i really enjoyed the first one, though i wont be getting this one as my backlog is huge and i will be getting my zombie fix in a few weeks when the last of us releases

I thought the first was a rough diamond, but a great game, in fact one of my GOTY contenders. In a year where most of the big AAA games failed to be that great.. it was nice to have something different.

The first game was slated by reviewers but imho was awesome.. I think the next will be the same.

I'm sure there will be people that will enjoy this just like they enjoyed the first one.

For me these days, any game that I can't turn on and get to the point within a minute of pushing start button and then turn it off in 30 minutes after some awesome gameplay, isn't worth my time. I just don't have more than 30 mins-1 hour per day I can spend gaming... 

So this open world, go anywhere and do missions and stuff kind of gameplay doesn't work for me. I just tried Far Cry 3 last week and I absolutely hated it because of this and that game is getting amazing reviews. 

Thats a fair point as most of the current negatives seem to say its really glitchy and filled with bugs.  Once patched it may be quite better

The last of Us is not a zombie game.

OT: I figured it would get mediocre scores. I enjoyed the first one a ton, despite all of its flaws so i will pick this up after I get the Last of Us.
