lol @ "fixing" an aligned-launch graph. You didn't fix it.. you just made a different graph. And one that still shows there was no comeback anyway. First full year on the market it outsold the Xbox.

Even if you don't align the launches, the graph shows it narrowly outselling the 360 in 2007 and just narrowly finishing behind it in 2008. So if it was "doomed" and sales were "abysmal", why don't you guys ever say that about the 360? Because if one was, the other certainly was.

It was never doomed at all. Both graphs show that.

yep.

the 360 was far more doom likely according to this forum.  This forum always believed in the PS3 becasue they could see the numbers, see how it outsold the 360 from the start... aligned launch you see.

this forum on the other hand said the 360 would...

top out at 25 to 25m

be dropped like a stone by MS after 5 years

have no on going suppoort

etc

etc

the graphs don't show that the early PS3 was almost a different console. it was losing a vast amount of money

You're right OP, PS3 never made a comeback at all... It was a downright flop compared to the PS2.

 

Sony fucked up royally this gen and your shit out of luck if you think they are ever going to make a comback.
