Forums - General - What do you have to show for your intelligence?

There's been a few threads on here asking people about their intelligence. The result has been a lot of responses by people who claim to have intelligence considerably higher than average. In fact, many people listed IQ's well within the gifted range. So, I ask to all of you gifted VGChartz users: what do you have to show for your intelligence? What's the thing you've done that most accurately represents your intellectual capacity? Have you achieved any exceptional feats?

Not a damn thing..

The other person would just.eventually figure it out during an argument with me.

Then they end up saying something about me similar to what you said about Superchunk in your sig..

I think we should start by saying what we think the true definition of intelligence is.

According to me intelligence is the ability to use your cumulative knowledge in the moment that it is most appropriate in order to obtain certain objective.    If lots of people have the same knowledge but only 1 reaches the objective, then he is smarter than the others.

I say this because most IQ examinations, ask for things that require previous knowledge that you may not know, or that have been never taught to you in school nor college. And because of that you don't know the answer, but that does not mean at all you are stupid.

Uhh, I've been accepted into the University of Edinburgh?

Charles Darwin went there and shit.

I dont mean to be a troll.  But that only means you know a lot of stuff, and not that you are smart.   Most probably you are smart too, but being accepted there does not proves it.

A useless fucking BA! O:

Graduated summa cum laude, inducted to the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa, and now a job that sounds cool (and did require a Federal Background Check) but is actually well beneath my qualifications (and is boring as piss)

This summer i'm going to get shit together to apply to PhD programs for Fall 2014, and then start applying for work, because i really need to get out of this job (since it pays too little for me to move out of my parents' house, too)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I haven't done all that I'd like too. I got a science degree which makes me very content with myself. I have a wonderful life. I've built a computer, learned 2 high level programming languages, beaten most of my game collection, landed a geek goddess, fixed numerous things around her house, cook from scratch night and day, and quit smoking. I've made mistakes but I think I'm on the right track :)

It certainly means I'm knowledgeable enough that they are interested.

Also I won't kid myself, they can charge me as an international student and they wanna make me pay lots of money. That factors a bit more, me thinks.
