I think that the "hybrid" people have it the worst. That's what makes me the saddest.

Hybrid people? Do you mean like half man half bear/pig?

I mean multiple console owners.

That's nearly everyone on this site.

You'd be surprised at how many different consoles certain users own.

Yep. My collection contains nearly every major console release dating back to the glory days of Atari as well as several 8bit computers like the Atari 800XL, Vic-20, Ti-99/4A, C=64, etc.

I was referring more to users who own consoles that they frequently troll or criticise.

But dang, that's an impressive list.

This thread gave me herpes and made me feel awkward when reading all the circlejerk going on in here. :O

When about the only things we know about most people here are their video game preferences, and we usually make friends with people who share our preferences and interests, it's not that hard to see why Sony, MS and Nintendo fans group together.

I talk about gaming most of my time here. If I'm going to spend that time with someone who disagrees with me at every turn, I'm not going to like him. Simple as that. Unless you're NinPie, because then you're just too cute.

Movie and TV threads are a different ball game.

Ok, but there's a difference between hanging out in your club and disliking those not in your club. I think that's what the OP is about. The people in the forum that immediately dislike those with different opinions than theirs.

Also, why are Movie and TV threads different? Why would you not have a problem with someone who doesn't like the same movies as you while only wanting to hang out with people that share your video game preference? Everyone has their favorites, but for some reason it's ok to like Steven Spielberg movies but if you like Shigeru Miyamoto games you're labeled a Nintendo fan and are disregarded by Sony or MS fans and visa versa. What's the difference between games and movies? Nobody seems to care what DVD player you use to watch movies, but it seems like fanboys care more about what system you game on than what you have to say about the actual games.
