Most recently it was Retro City Rampage, Wipeout 2048, and Resident Evil: Revelations. Three of the best games of 2012.

Yay!

Umihara Kawase for SNES. It's extremely unique, and it's short levels make it fun to pick up and play. Pity it never got an official US release.

Ninja Five-O for GBA is another one. Sure, it has a kinda lame name, but the gameplay is top notch.

God of War 1. Thought it would be shallow gameplay, with an empty story. Was completely wrong.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Nier. I remember seeing the first screenshots and laughing about how much the sheep looked like rocks. Little did I know it would become one of my favorite games of this generation.

My exact choice along with obligatory posting a song from the OST.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

On topic: The original Uncharted. I wasn't a fan of Crash during the PS era, and never played a single Jak & Daxter game. So I wasn't what you can call a Naughty Dog fan.  Uncharted changed that. Uncharted 2 did it again, and has become the game of the gen for me.

LMAO

OT: MGS4

Metal gear solid 3 (In ps3 HD collection). Especially ending made me sad.
The curse of monkey island (PC). The humor and all jokes were awesome.
Beyond good and evil (PC). Was addicted to it.
Call of duty: United offensive (PC). The campaign was awesome.
Infamous (ps3). Ending was awesome.

Bioshock Infinite.

I Started playing the original Bioshock when it first came out and couldn't get into it. Then tried BI and was hooked instantly. The original Bioshock is on the same disk so I'm going to give it another try. Hopefully I get hooked on this one now too.
