Forums - Nintendo - Fire emblem uk anecdotal

Just thought i would share my issues of the morning of trying and failing to buy fire emblem. Went to my local tesco first, which by the way is the biggest tesco store in europe (a new trial store) and they do not have it for sale. Then went to my local blockbuster, which is half blockbuster, half gamestation and they do not have it. So i ask the guy behind the checkout if they have it and he says they are having problems with recieving nintendo stock, as they also did not get luigi's mansion 2. Now it should be pointed out that blockbuster are in administration so that might be the reason nintendo are not shipping games to them but still. With no gane store close to me its going to have to be amazon. Are any other people struggling to buy this in the uk?

In Russia - available only 24th of April... Reasons unknown... (((

Got mine yesterday. Was apparently only one other preorder.

Though the shop isnt exactly major and 3DS/Nintendo in general arent big around my area.

I think the game will do well off word of mouth

I feel your pain. It took me about 3 weeks to track down a physical copy in USA.

Oh god damn...I also heard about a Saturn in Germany only having 3 copies in stock...guess I'll have to haul my slim ass out of my chair and try to get the game today^^

And then nintendo wonder why these games dont sell. Ship more of the damn things and they might actually get some sales.

There are shortages. Amazon did run out of pre-orders in germany twice and the shop where I preordered gets the game within 2 weeks. Release was today of course.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Try Grainger Games if you have one near you (or their online store here).

They had a shelf-full of copies in my local store yesterday.  Had prices on them too, but I presume you couldn't buy them (since it only releases today, right?)

But anyway, yeah.  They're pretty good at stocking games like this.

Fortunely mine is on its way by mail. Not too pleased with how inneficient amazon.co.uk has been with it, but at least its on its way.

Mine was posted on Wednesday from Zavvi, hasn't arrived yet today, so I'm assuming tomorrow or Monday.
