I've noticed that the PS3 is now just 140,000 behind the 360 outside of the US;
360 - 5.98m
PS3 - 5.84m
Not bad going considering the 360s head start.

umm. what are you talking about? ya total PS3 sales will top 360 US sales soon... but PS3 other sales might take a while to top the 360's other sales.

I believe he is talking about japan+OTHERS for ps3 about to overtake japan+OTHERS for xbox 360.
Its quite interesting, but like I keep saying the 360's trump card is North america.

wii: 40M
total life time sales number. That's not bad. I'm still counting down the moment when PS3 overtake xbox overall sales in "Others"

Yeah, that's pretty cool. Also, the PS3 is almost 1 million units ahead of the 360 for the same amount of time since launch.

You guys think this is a good thing for Sony? The PS2 outsold the Xbox by almost 22 million units in Japan. The 360 is dead in Japan. The fact that you can take Europe and Japan and 360 still has a lead is a testament to a good business decision by xbox and the lack of total business sense by Sony to release a $600 game machine.

And it only took 2 $100 pricedrops and the support of Japanese gamers to get there, woohoooo!
What's really amazing is the PS3 software sales in Europe, despite being a million and a half systems down PS3 Burnout Paradise edged out the 360 version. AC and COD4 also sold higher last week on the PS3, so it looks like Sony still has the European hardcore market, which should help it compete against the 360 in international sales figures.

As long as you get there, who cares how you got there? Also, what's wrong with realizing you made a mistake and fixing it? It's better then going into denial....
