After the sales of the first one on 3DS, I actually wasn't expecting this.

Still, good news for anyone with a Japanese 3DS, and for the lineup over there in general.

Sales does not always mean profit, and there were some Sega PR when they said that the PSV game was not returning their investment as they have expected.

Either way, I share Soriku's thoughts. To both games.

That is very intolerant, sir.

You have to be kidding me, from all the people on the interwebz, I find you one of the most bitter and intolerant person.

It doesn't mean more profit, but it does mean more revenue, and that's why I said I wasn't expecting this.  The Vita version's FW sales are only a bit lower than the 3DS version's LT sales.  They made more money from the game.

But apparently, it was also significantly more expensive to make, which is why I was surprised, since I thought licencing costs would be similar for both titles.

I don't remember calling people to burn games I don't like of late

SEGA gave figures for Hatsune Miku games :

- Project Diva f (VIta) + F (PS3) shipped 390K in Japan

- Project Diva + Project Mirai series have hit 1.8 million shipped

If we consider 400K PDf+PDF and 200K Project Mirai, it means that the PSP games shipped 400K in average

I don't like the chibi look of mirai.
I really want to try out the series but project diva f is just so damn expensive...

@ryuzaki i'm sure well get another diva game for the PS. It's one of segas bigger franchises in japan so i don't see them dropping it. It'll probably just be psv/ps3 like diva f/F.

I hope you're right, I'm not interested in chibi Miku either... That said it took a PSVita and a PS3 game to match the sales standalone PSP games were achieving, the outlook is not really good atm. I'm really, really sad tonight...
