Um no. See how the little bar graphs on the left are almost the same height?


1) Almost the same height is not the same height. The Nintendo bar is slightly taller, making "PS4 already more popular" a blatant lie.

 

2) note how the PS4 has searches going back a long way, back to before Nintendo's next console was even called the WiiU, when it was called Wii2 or WiiHD

 

3) There are some fairly interesting correlations.

But the Nintendo peak is fatter, showing even though it didnt spike as much more people look at it for longer period.

Also most Sony fans are 12. All they do is go to google type ps4 hit enter, than close the window. Rinse and repeat 400times a day; therefore, making this comparison a joke. ( add sarcasm here just in case people take it to serious).

Clearly there is more interest in the PS4 before launch. Whether that will translate into actual sales IDK. Personally I would be more interested in seeing a comparison of the ps4 and xbox720 once its announced.

I'm just stating some stats I unearthed. The poll is meaningless and merely there to increase hits on a thread I only expected to get one or two replies with.
