Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is bigger- Zelda or Fable

After my PS3 gets it's 4th 10m seller has got derailed into what is bigger, Fable or Zelda I just thought I'd make a thread for multiple people's opinions.  I stand by what I said and that Zelda is bigger.  Since Trollmaster says otherwise because Fable III outsold Skyward Sword let's get some opinions.  He says in present day time Zelda has lost popularity and that Fable is now bigger.  Let's look.  Now which one is bigger?  Opinions

I still haven't reached a reply to that guy's terms.

But seriously? After Fable:The Journey I'm sure that franchise power weakened.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

How on gods earth does Fable sell that much? Wanted to shoot myself playing through the first one.

Really?

Well if you only count the latest entry then it's Fable, but one game in each series is not that much to really get a clear picture and with Twilight Princess it's pretty clear that Zelda is bigger.

This isn't even a comparison. Again.

why does even need to be asked?

Yeah i was getting tired of him derailing the thread yet he never gave a reason for anything.  for someone who can argue for pages i would at least think he would do some research instead of comparing a new game to a 14 year old remake.  That being said 3m is amazing for a remake.  That and Zelda is mor epopular on home consoles.

Zelda has far more brand power in the game industry than Fable. Saying otherwise is silly.

I'm actually surprised Fable has sold so much. But in its defense it has filled the action/adventure with RPG elements niche the 360 lacks for the most part.

I admit Zelda has lost some of its shine this gen. But Zelda is still bigger.
