I was thinking more along the lines of torturing.

I can't believe I only found this out after I got out of school. Usually things like this spread fast at schools.

I work in Boston, but not that close to any of the bombs. I commute into North Station, and I did not want to be there (large and busy public train station) during rush hour so I waited it out at a bar. My girlfriends family was at the finish line and didn't get hurt (close enough to take pics).

Also cell phone calls were disabled for a while so that no more bombs could be set off, so it was only possible to text for a while.

Yeah it was a weird day.

so has this one convinced you all to let the higher ups take away our rights or do they need a couple more random attscks to do the job?

I don't think this act of violence should convince anyone that the government should take over our weapons. (Or whatever you want to call them.) It's ridiculous to think that letting the gov't take control of weapons would lead to less volatile acts like this. Sadly, they can't be stopped.

Supposedly there was a Boston bombing tragedy page made on Facebook 2 days ago and it was just deleted when people questioned it before the bombings happened. Another comment said that their was also 1 made for Sandy Hook BEFORE the shooting happened.
