I work in Boston, but not that close to any of the bombs. I commute into North Station, and I did not want to be there (large and busy public train station) during rush hour so I waited it out at a bar. My girlfriends family was at the finish line and didn't get hurt (close enough to take pics).
Also cell phone calls were disabled for a while so that no more bombs could be set off, so it was only possible to text for a while.
Yeah it was a weird day.
