Just vgchartz.  Obviosuly it will differ site to site but this is the second time that we have had someone obviously cheating in the last two days.  I started noticing somebody doing it for Diablo as I saw him get like 15 votes in 5 minutes so I went ahead and cut that short in hope that the person doing it would stop.  It did not.  The problem with comment votes is that nobody takes the time to comment.

Or it just means that the people who care the most vote. Those who don't vote don't have a strong enough opinion to be worthy of voting.

It's like real elections. Oregon has a mail in ballot instead of voter polls. I hate it. It means that more stupid voters vote who would have never voted if they had to get off their lazy asses and walk down to a local poll. I only want the most imformed people to vote and those are the type who are willing to do whatever it takes to vote.

Someone used a proxy for Kratos as well though. Most people in here voted Drake though.

 

OT: I vote Mario. Easy round for him.

How do you know that? As I already said Kratos is way more mainstream so it makes sense that the common person only browsing would vote for him while people posting would have a different opinion.

I think they are both just as mainstream to the common person browsing as to people commenting from Vgchartz.

Shame someone keeps messing with the poll results, it was far easier to just vote via poll for the ones I didn't really have particularly strong feelings about. Still, if it means that it isn't just one person's decision on who goes through I'm more than happy to take the time to comment vote.

I'll probably give it another go  with the poll.  I'll just keep a close eye on the poll like I have been.

You are calling Nathan Drake shallow when Kratos's entire story could be told in two sentences.  

Kratos was angry.  Kratos killed all the gods.  The end.  Sorry for the spoiler alerts.

You need to play more God of War!!!

Kratos was broken down to nothing. His death was imminent. As a last ditch attempt to save his army he pleaded to Ares in exchange for his servitude. He carried out his tasks diligently until he was tricked into slaughtering his own wife and child. Since then he has been tormented by his actions and constantly struggles to carry on...

Kratos has a much deeper character than Drake even if he isn't as enjoyable or charming.

Because being abandoned as a child, living in an orphange trying to find a greater meaning of life thus obsessing over Sir Francis Drake while taking on a new identity, is not deep enough? The third game in particular has a lot of symbolism around it and Drake gets to confront what he fears the most. That alone was more deeper than the entire GoW Saga for me.

 

I love Kratos and God of War. I have every single game (multiple copies) but Drake is far more interesting in my opinion. Perhaps because Kratos got his resolution after the first game and they decided to make more games while playing off of the same element.
