You are calling Nathan Drake shallow when Kratos's entire story could be told in two sentences.  

Kratos was tricked by a god and became angry.  Kratos killed all the gods.  The end.  Sorry for the spoiler alerts.

Kratos was broken down to nothing. His death was imminent. As a last ditch attempt to save his army he pleaded to Ares in exchange for his servitude. He carried out his tasks diligently until he was tricked into slaughtering his own wife and child. Since then he has been tormented by his actions and constantly struggles to carry on...

Kratos has a much deeper character than Drake even if he isn't as enjoyable or charming.

I know how it began.  Still did not make the story any more enjoyable.  The gameplay is fun as hell but Kratos is a one dimensional character that is driven by anger from beginning to end.  He isn't a complex character with many emotions.  Just anger.  They never portrayed any other side of him in 1-3.  Haven't played ascension so i wont comment on that.  His character design to his voice was all with reason to portray anger.  The only other personality that they gave him was lust.  Moral of the entire story is dont make him angry.

What Im saying is saying that another character is shallow is ironic when you are talking about kratos that's story is entirely driven by guilt and anger with no remorse.

Well it depends. Kratos doesn't have much of an arc but he is still very much a fleshed out character.

It once again is very obvious somebody is messing around in the polls. 26 votes in a matter of 8 minutes.  I've had enough of these combatents to know that votes does not come in that fast.  Many comantents in the firs round was lucky to get 10 votes.  I sat there and watched it. No comments in this span either. I will delay the tournament and wait to see if someone has any suggestion.

If the admins of the forum code had the motivation they could put in IP detection that disallows more than 1 vote from same IP or range of IPs, obviously wouldn't stop a proxy but you'd have to be a bit of a loser to go to those lengths.

(not that I'm interested, too many pro Sony fans here to have any chance of a fair vote, big boss beating Link? Pull the other one :p)

I think you should just do it by comment votes and not even bother letting the same people who are abusing the polls vote for polls.

Are we doing this contest for VGCHARTZ users or for the internet as a whole? Just make it comments only so the best character wins according to us active users instead of having it a popularity contest.
