No, it's an interactive digital media. You see, the exploring is just "find the right thing or place to trigger the next scene", you don't get to choice anything, the thing is totally linear (So it's not even a choose your own adventure book) and the puzzles are not interactive, you just answer them and keep going.

That's what I can make from you. Of course I respect your point of view, don't take me wrong. But I fail to see your point.

Heavy Rain overall because I would actually agonize over decisions I was so immersed. I couldn't even finish the fourth trial and my hands were shaking after the oncoming traffic part.

Also the ACiT ending made my cry tears of joy and sorrow back to back. That's the only story that's ever managed to make me do that.

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future's ending was a tearjerker.

BioShock Infinite made me really sad as soon as it ended, it was a magnificent experience and I didn't want it to end.

The fall of The Kingdom of Zeal, among other things, were really depressing in Chrono Trigger.

To The Moon was also a really sad game if you think about what ACTUALLY happened.

Mother 3 was really emotional and depressing.

The Walking Dead (episode 3 mostly)
Bioshock Infinite - I was really wanting booker to redeem himself and finally be with Anna. Being a father also, that resonated with me..

Persona 3, the ending was both epic and sad. The whole game is an emotional roller coaster.

I know this thread will without a doubt contain spoilers, but that one is a new game, so please cover them. We don't want other people to be spoilt of the fun, do we?
