JazzB1987 said: Its funny that so many people mention second party or even third party. Ratchet n Clank is made by insomniac its not part of sony Spyro is also not sony IP (I loved Spyro on PS1!!!) same goes for CrashBandicoot. Heavy Rain is also not a Sony game.
Resistance is not as good as killzone
Sly is something I will take a look into since the new game looks interesting
I dont know about Twisted Metal never played it
Folklore (if this is Sony IP) is cool

You have a point with Spyro & Crash, but other than that, your post was a mess.
By your own definition: Resistance; Sly Cooper; Twisted Metal & Folklore are second party Sony games (i.e. developed by outside developers). So they weren't even worth bringing up if you'd ruled them out in the opening paragraph.
Except, they are still Sony games. Not first party developers, but they are still first party IP's, funded exclusively by Sony and published by them.
Do you consider Mario Party 1-8 & Luigi's Mansion 2 to be Nintendo games? I do. But by your own definition, you'd have to exclude them from a Nintendo list because they were made by second/third party developers. Which seems kind of redundant to me, but each to their own.
