Same here but I guess it's understandable; I was like 6 or 7 when I first played DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Lol! I must have been around 10-12 or something like that... But I was used to play NES back then, so playing Doom was... quite different ^^

Ohh well I was actually 4 :| haha but I guess Games was always a part of my young little life thanks to my dad who worked at Ericsson - meaning our house was a tech house even in the 80s when I wasn't even born :P

Personally nothing compares to the fun I have had playing duke nukem, doom and wolfenstein on our god damn old PC we had back then, those three defined a lot for my gaming  which is why I love FPS games so much

I thought it was a thread about Doom 4, came here to see news while my PC waits for D4 and got bored.

Let's not forget that consoles are useful just for exclutives, I'll never play multiplats on consoles, only on PCs.

I always thought Duke Nukem 3D was a way better game.  I even had the level editor down a little (I would know what numbers were what textures).  I even made a huge ass single player level.  The coolest room I made was a boxing arena room in that level.  I probably should have truncated the level down to the arena along with a few other rooms and post it on a website for multiplayer map.  Sadly my 3.5 floppy was lost that contained my user made levels.

I too liked Duke Nukem 3D more, because it was funnier. But you have to say, Doom was first and paved the way.

I thought we can't use all caps in our thread titles :P
