How is this any good news. It's more bad news. The only good thing is if the new xbox can play used games.

The only negative I see is you might have to buy an add-on to have 360 BC but that's better than none at all and is entirely optional.

For the every day gamer who just wants to buy a next gen console and play next gen games, this is amazing, game changing news compared to what we had before.

Exactly what is bad about this news. I do not see anything within this news that is bad and its very light on info to begin with.  If true, this rumor would mean that one of the major problems people were having with the next box is not true.  Durango will be able to play used games and it will be able to play offline.  For BC, you can purchase the capability.  Depending on the cost of Durango and the specs for the device including it capabilities that might be a good thing.  I do not need BC if I have a 360.  If I sell my 360 and later on I want BC I can get the mini.  Depending on the features of the Mini we do not know, I might want to sell my 360 and get Durango and a Mini.

Currenly I cannot see anything negative to this rumor until there is more detail on both SKU.

If the rumors are true it doesnt matter... we will get a million threads about "how the total 360 familyi beats the PS3".. which then will be countered by a million "how the PS3 beats the 360 excluding the mini cause that one doesn't count" threads...

How is this any bad news? Could you please tell us more why this is bad news? Ok, I see this is bad news for some users but generally it is good news and especially saying the exact opposite of what other leaks said (online for durango mandatory, no used games).

This jives with earlier rumors that were getting around some long time ago. I think it's legit as the 360 has a fantastic library of games, especially XBLA, and it's also a great media player.

Unlikely, Durango is rumored to have a low-power mode specifically for this sort of media stuff.
