Really interesting. Still waiting for the announcement though. Im tired of rumors, Im ready for the reveal.

Meh, I don't even use my cable other than for sports.

Excited to know what the 720 brings. Come on with the reveal!

Today is a very interesting day for the nextbox.

I feel the same way. I hate rumors and leaks that cause more questions than answers. I'd rather know nothing than wonder if what we know is even true.

This is all about beating Apple and Google to control of the living room. Nintendo TVii is nowhere near robust of a service to be any type of a threat whatsoever. It's a half baked little feature on the Wii U that almost no one uses.

Microsoft is going huge into TV, even investing in their own TV production studio to create content.

MS is going after a broad audience like the one Apple taps into.

Given all of these stupid rumors, at least we know for a fact that microsoft fired all of the former "game centric" higher ups and replaced them with "media centric" ideologues.

So we know for sure that the next xbox will go HEAVY media hub/living room. No telling if it'll work. Windows isn't a desired commodity nor are any other of microsoft's endeavors. I just want this box revealed already.

It would play into the obvious narrative of microsoft's struggle to push their mp3 players, phones, windows and tablets. One could speculate that it won't work. One should not speculate too soon though lol.

Nintendo has nothing on what cable box that will be the 720. Microsoft will realize their non-gaming dreams while giving gamers a couple games as well.
