Forums - Gaming - Which of your consoles has stopped working?

None, despite 20 years of gaming I have yet to kill one yet.

The only system I've had break on me so far is the original Playstation. The original model was practically made to fall apart.. I went through 2 of em and then one dual shock model. Last I tested(2 months) my PSone still operates fine.

I had a Mega Drive (Genesis) [sold], Game Gear , Saturn , Dreamcast , Gamecube and a PS3 and never has a console stopped working on me.

I've owned numerous consoles over the years, and the only one that ever broke down was my Xbox - Error code 13. :(

My Nes doesn't really work.
My genesis stopped (partly my fault if not completely)
My big ps1 died
My big ps2 and first slim died (the slim died after 4 months)

My dreamcast died, it was a sad day.

@smbu2000: What happened to your Saturn is what happened to my Gamecube. If you put something really heavy on top of the cube, the discs will spin, but that's the only way to make them work.

Does that really work? Why would that method work? Do you know?

I wish I could try it on my Saturn, unfortunately it's a few thousand miles away from me at the moment...though I have been looking at picking up a used JP Saturn sometime. I just bought a used Super Famicom a few weeks back. :)

went through about 4 ps2's. Must have had some of the worst luck ever there.

I knew someone who went through 6 in one year. Face it, Sony hardware has never been reliable, especially PS1 and especially PS2.

basically.  I had 2 PS2s that broke on me... only consolse i've had to break on me and i have a working NES, SNES, Atari, gameboy and a Balley Astrocade.

Nearly all my playstations have crapped out on me.
I have broke 2 Ps1s, 2 Ps2s (also sold one just before it broke haha), but my Ps3 looks like a trooper, it's built like a brick shit house.

On a lighter note though, all my nintendos, dating back to the nes, are all still in perfect working order

First PS2 broke. (Drive Tray)
First GB has a line of missing pixels.
NES stopped reading cartridges. (cleaned the contacts, works now)
