i can't stand halo 4. compared to halo 2 or 3 multiplayer it is a fucking flop

This. I completely agree! Halo 2 was the greates Console shooter ever created!

Long Live SHIO!

I didn't really care for any maps till the second DLC came out and Action Sack became available. I felt Reach had the same problem, not good maps (or few) with launch.

Please, don't go in this way because you will make the Halo 4 MP numbers ever worst ... they are good when compared to any other MP shooter game except CoD and previous Halos.

This is the thing mate, that line there betrays you and shows your charged up agenda based thinking. You clearly post with a passion but it's a shame that passion is fueled by things that aren't all that pure.

You interpret other people's posts with almost a paranoid complex. Reading things into them that they aren't saying because you subconceously believe that everyone is on your level of agenda based thinking.

Most people really don't care - believe it, it's true!

I'm leveling with you here, I'm sure you'll bounce it back but there we go.

And for these that talk about the Halo 3 MP didn't have competition and forgot the Reach MP had competition and the number of players was way better than Halo 4 MP.

So stop with false excuses to try to avoid the reality.

For me what changed in the wrong way in the Halo 4 MP:

- Loadouts segregate player base and negate player skill

This is definitely not true since the loadouts all have equally powered weapons. This isn't like CoD where you can start with any weapon, you get a few equally powered weapons to choose from. In fact it's one of my favorite new features since now I don't have to do an annoying hunt for a BR at the beginning of every spawn.

- Granades are useless

This is so untrue to the point of absurdness. Grenades are ridiculous. If anything they are slightly overpowered.

- Skill are useless

Again not true, each skill has advantages and disadvantages and they can be quite helpful. It's like a big rock, paper, scissors game.

- Vehicles are useless

This is seriously just laughable. Vehicles are the most balanced they have ever been in a Halo game.

- Ordnance system promotes camping

Not really. In fact, Halo 4 has the least amount of camping I have ever seen in a Multiplayer game. And for those that do want to camp you just whip out the Forunner Vision and own them.

- Bad armor choices

What? Pointless argument point since it's just a superficial addittion. Not to mention a lot of the armor in the game looks beast.

- Unlock system is broke

How? Seriously; I don't see it.

- Bad maps choices

For the most part yes. It does have a couple of really good maps though. It's much better than Reach overall and unfortunately I think bad maps seems to be a common trend among MP games today.

Everything that makes Halo MP AWESOME and UNIQUE is not present in Halo 4 MP... it is a good MP but no more awesome... it is more like CoD now (for CoD I have CoD).

I just felt that I had to respond to these points because they are mostly wrong.

Voice of reason.

Sadly, it is true.

Halo 4 daily numbers are simply abysmal. I have noted that from 2 weeks ago (last week of March) numbers have gone down by 30-40% across all game modes.

The problem started a lot sooner than 2 weeks ago, in fact it started on November 12 2012, when Blops II came out.

Kids love their COD and now game is noob friendlier than COD.

However, I can also say as a big fan of Halo that Halo 4's MP is not up to scratch with Halo 3. From maps, to game modes to hit detection and auto aim the game is a bit weak. The game modes just don't offer the same variety that Halo 3 did and the maps, especially small sized ones are horrible.

You're clearly in denial phase. Basically, I'm saying "does it really matter". You seem to think everyone is desparate to prove you wrong on everything you comment on where you make a statement that goes against the common grain of thought. So for example, you aren't happy with Halo 4 MP - Anyone that says anything different to you in your opinion is feeling personally upset about this.

You clearly have a high intellect level but spoil it for yourself by an underlying belief that adults think like children. There are a lot of people here who genuinely are in it for the debate and have an interest in this stuff that ends on the intellectual level.

Don't be a silly and pretend you don't know what I'm on about, it's not cool and you're 30 so act like it.

My previous comment to which you took the time to post a jpeg to show you think I'm bonkers, was in reference to you making a personal implication on the feeling of these numbers. People aren't upset by these numbers, it just might be that they genuinely don't agree. You're style of thinking is outwardly obvious from the giveaway words that you use in your posts.

I'm sure there are plenty here that know exactly what I'm talking about, including yourself.

When Halo 3 was out, there were about 3 games worth playing online - let alone total for the system. Early in the lifecycle, and it was THE game.

Halo 4's lower player total daily isn't about the game. It's about choice. There are currently 952 Xbox 360 titles, and 536 XBLA titles.

That's 1500 games to compete with. And that's just on the one platform.

So if there's 50 million Live users, and maybe 60% are Gold members, that's 30 million players. Let's say only HALF the total titles are viable (some are so old and crappy no one is playing them.) 30 million divided by 750 games is 40,000 users. So IF EVERY gold user played a game EVERY night, then 40,000 per title would be expected. But of course that's totally unrealistic.
The fact that Halo 4 has the number of users it HAS off 8 million sales is remarkable - - not tragic. Some of your expectations are quite sad.""

READ THE BOLD PART. THAT'S THE PART OF HIS COMMENT WHICH I REPLIED. Halo 4 has a peak of 30-45k players per day off of 8 million sales. THAT IS NOT REMARKABLE. Suddenly its position in the chart makes much more sense.

Why is it surprising that MW3 is ahead of Halo 4? BECAUSE CONSOLE COMMUNITIES MIGRATE VERY QUICKLY TO THE "NEXT BIG THING". This goes especially for COD games which release on a yearly basis. The sad part is that they can't really do anything to turn this around. Once a playerbase moves on, they move on. No amount of DLC is going to get them playing again.

Surely it would have been a lot better if you did your original research that you are now doing - before making the damn thread, no?

Then we could have had a discussion instead of this - using words like "sad" - WTF? It's video games we're talking about here, nobody is sad. The real sad thing is you just made a flame bate thread and gave no real insight into anything at all in the OP.
