This Fall Puppeteer and Beyond are sending my PS3 out on an ultra high note before PS4 hits (which I'm as excited for as I was for PS2 when I was 8) and I hopefully get Infamous day 1. 2013 has already seen my favorite game in the Sly franchise (to scratch that long neglected 3d platformer itch) and a legitimately new MP experience from GoW that's a blast, along with one of the series' better SP campaigns. LoU is coming this Summer with its awesomeness (yeah it's from ND so I'm assuming it'll be awesome along with hearing from every previewer that they are being wowed by it). If Castlevania is all as awesome as the vampire part of the last one it'll also have one of the greatest games I've ever played (the vampire part of LoS was one of my favorite parts of ANY game in my life). Add in Tomb Raider eventually along with GTA and Watch Dogs for my open world fix and KZ for PS4 launch and this could the best year of my gaming life (still a lot of variables but it's really great so far and my most anticipated stuff isn't here yet).  Oh yeah and I'll be experiencing KH for the first time when the HD collection comes over which I'm excited for.  Honestly PS4 alone would make this one of my best years but with all this other stuff looking to be or already being awesome, I really think this year could be the best yet for me in gaming.

So how much have you guys enjoyed 2013 and how great do you think the rest of the year will turn out for you?

Personally? I think 2014 will be.

2013 is a great year to have a 3DS sure, with BDFF coming and Pokemon and Mario RPG. BUT

2014 will have SSB and likely "X" and HD Zelda. Nothing can top that for me. Nothing.

I think 2013 will be a great improvement over 2012. And 2012 wasn't all too bad of a year, just kind of mediocre. (So this year is going to be above that, which is called... better than mediocre!) If we get Mario Kart U or a 3D Mario this year then it will be a "Good!" gaming year, in my opinion.

Overall, though, too early to tell for me.

Gears was the game I was anticipating the most and my favorite game of the year thus far.

My second most anticipated game is Last of Us. But that might be the kind of game I play once and never again.

I'm pumped for 2013-14. From August on I think it will be epic. I'm not sold 100% on either PS4 or NextBox yet, but I'm really excited to see what they bring. That's on top of what will probably be an epic autumn for Wii U first party, and Watch_Dogs. Some of the games I'm really pumped for, like Destiny and X, I expect to slip into 2014. So the 12 month period of 2nd half 2013 to first half 2014 I'm jacked.

those are the most important games for me this year + some other games for next gen and some games like ni no kuni, tomb raider and so on. not to forget a lot of indie games and games releasing this year like pikmin 3 which i will probably buy anytime after 2013

Definitely. I already have Luigi's Mansion 2 and this year I will be buying Mario & Luigi 4, Pokémon X/Y, WInd Waker HD (my favorite game of all time), Layton 6 or PLvsPW. Then there are games that I might buy this year: Bayonetta 2 (75%),Mystery Dungeon 3 (50%), BDFF (40%), SMT IV (60%), LCU (50%).
Can't forget unannounced games for this year either. If 3D Mario releases then I'll buy that. Mario Kart U (25%) and 3DS Zelda (100%) if it releases this year.
