More news about people buying games instead of companies closing down because they don’t: according to a series of tweets from Nintendo Europe boss Satoru Shibata, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate stock is running low in PAL territory retailers. The executive said he expects more shipments in store for Wii U next week, and for 3DS by mid-April, and noted that eShop versions are available on both systems. The action RPG debuted close to the bottom of the UK charts this week.

I wonder how much they actually shipped if it debuted that low. Yet another case of gravely undershipped Nintendo games?

Um, the chart in the article is from MH3's second week not it's debut.
News of the game selling out is good I guess though I doubt retailers ordered that many of it.

Nintendo puprosely undershipping games so that people will buy them from the eShop is my best guess at what the "conspiracy" would be.

Nintendo undershipping games to make people go DL it for a bigger chunk of the pie.

Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, MH3U...heck they likely saw the godly profits that AC was raking in by having a 33% DL ratio.

I still doubt this but if the trend continues then yeah.

Nintendo is purposely undershipping their games in order to push gamers into choosing the digital version of the game.

It's going to bite them in the ass later if they are doing it.
